A. Bannour obtained his engineering degree, followed by a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in the field of telecommunications, and successfully completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the prestigious Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis in Tunisia in the years 2006, 2008, and 2013, respectively.

Presently, he holds the position of R&D telecom researcher at Multitel research center at Mons, Belgium. He held also the position of a research associate, affiliated with the University of Carthage, specifically with Innov’Com and the Higher School of Communications of Tunis, known as Sup’Com, located in Tunis, Tunisia. Additionally, he serves as a senior researcher within the Faculty of Engineering, specializing in Electromagnetism and Telecommunications, at the University of Mons (UMONS), where he was actively involved in the M&SSCoT project. This ambitious project is dedicated to the modularization of train engine control entities and was initiated by Alstom. Collaborating stakeholders in this endeavor include Thales, Alpha Innovations, the Center of Excellence in Information and Communication Technologies (CETIC), ULiège, UMons, and Deltatec. It is worth noting that he is a respected member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
