Dr. Mamadou Gueye is an experienced RF Engineer and Project Leader with extensive expertise in designing and validating RF and antenna systems. He currently works as an RF Project Leader and EMC Test Lab Head at Multitel in Belgium, where he leads projects related to 5G and 6G technologies and conducts EMC tests following European and international standards.

In previous roles at Multitel, Dr. Gueye spearheaded RFID antenna development, set up an anechoic chamber for high-frequency measurements, and leaded lot of Proof of concept projects using private 5G. His responsibilities also included managing technical projects, developing test measurement plans, and contributing to Remote Radio Unit development for 4G and 5G networks.

Before Multitel, Dr. Gueye worked at Radio Frequency Systems (a Nokia subsidiary in France), where he specialized in high-frequency parabolic and beam-steering antennas, flat antennas, developing systems for point-to-point communications and next-generation V-band telecom. His duties encompassed both technical project management and the design of complex RF/HF components such as orthomode transducers and duplexers.

His role at Altran Technologies (France) included consulting on antenna development and RF projects, where he focused on small cells, parabolic antennas, and component design in the E band.

Dr. Gueye holds a PhD in Electronic, Optronic, and Systems Engineering from the University of Paris West, where he specialized in millimeter-wave antennas for high-speed digital links. His academic background also includes a Master’s in Electronic Systems and Electrical Engineering from Polytech Nantes.

Over his career, he has developed an adept skill set in both project management and technical disciplines, utilizing simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, ADS, and measurement equipment like network analyzers and anechoic chambers.
